Co-owner & Co-founder
After five years of grinding through commission shops and warehouse jobs, Matt opened Curly’s with a simple mission: create a space where serious artistry meets genuine respect. Specializes in bold American traditional work and detailed black & gray realism, but will tackle any vision that walks through the door.

Tattoo Artist
Born in Germany to a military family, James eventually made Brunswick, Georgia his home before landing in Pendergrass with his three kids. With 15 years of tattooing experience and a background as an Army veteran, he brings both precision and authenticity to every piece. While he’s skilled in multiple styles, James focuses on American traditional and black & gray realism – and he’s known for his large-scale work like full sleeves, fronts, and backs.
What sets James apart? He’s one of the few artists who’ll actually tell you when a design won’t age well or heal properly, helping you make better decisions about your ink instead of just taking your money. As a full-time single dad, his schedule can shift, but his commitment to quality work never wavers.
Tattoo Artist
Jordan Olivera is a tattoo artist with 8 years of experience, originally from Miami, Florida. His work is rooted in Japanese and American traditional tattooing, emphasizing strong linework, bold composition, and timeless design. Jordan is passionate about creating tattoos that age well and hold meaning for his clients.
